[SN 76300] USED suhr / Custom Classic S Quilt Maple Top Bahama Blue Burst [03]
The Suhr / Custom Classic S Quilt Maple Top Bahama Blue Burst is now in stock as a used item!
In addition to some discoloration on the fingerboard, there are slight scratches and signs of wear throughout the guitar; however, it plays perfectly fine as is.
A custom model with a stunning quilted top that catches your eye the moment you see it.
Based on the Classic model, it features a combination of a carefully selected quilted maple top, a swamp ash back, a maple neck, and an Indian rosewood fingerboard.
The maple top is thick yet highly three-dimensional, featuring a premium quilted pattern with a distinct “undulation.”
Combined with the Bahamas Blue Burst finish, it creates a look with incredible depth that evokes the vast expanse of the Caribbean Sea.
Of course, the headstock features a matching headstock design, ensuring a visually balanced overall appearance.
The neck is a maple neck, deliberately specified as quarter-sawn for its superior rigidity and sound. It features a solid grip shape that feels substantial in the hand—unusual for a SUHR.
The pickups are a combination of ML/ML/Asatobucker.
This combination is strongly inspired by a certain signature model, and they’ve even gone the extra mile by specifying a Raw Nickel finish for the bridge pickup.
(Actually, the neck shape is also subtly the same as that of a certain signature model...)
The ML STANDARD PICKUPS feature staggered pole pieces with unique modifications designed to create a uniform magnetic field, and they are wound with more coils than other Suhr pickups to deliver greater output and sustain.
The Asatobucker combines SSV-style wound coils—which produce a soft attack and a smooth, warm tone—with the same Alnico IV magnets found in the bright, wide-range Thornbucker, resulting in a pickup that fully expresses Mateus Asato’s musical vision.
The combination of all these elements results in a wide-range, “fast” sound—one where every note leaps forward with assertiveness—creating a playing experience and tone that can only be found in this one-of-a-kind instrument.
A truly original custom instrument—be sure to give it a try!
