We have received a 2013 Gibson Sheryl Crow Southern Jumbo.
It features a crown inlay on the headstock, an Adirondack spruce top, a mahogany body (sides and back), a mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, and double parallelogram fingerboard inlays.
The bracing is traditional scalloped X-bracing.
The sound is characterized by a powerful, punchy attack.
There is damage and paint peeling in various places throughout the guitar. There is paint peeling around the pickguard that looks like it was caused by solvent splatter.
The frets have been refretted, and the nut has also been replaced.
There is some paint overspray on the headstock. The truss rod is adjustable and has approximately 60 degrees of adjustment remaining in the tightening direction.
The string action is approximately 2.4 mm at the 12th fret on the 6th string.
Although it shows signs of use such as scratches, it produces a powerful sound characteristic of Gibson. It has undergone thorough repairs and is ready to be used in active service.
