[SN 584400] USED FENDER / 1975 Stratocaster Black [03]
The model we’ve just received is a 1975 Stratocaster featuring specifications different from those of the ’50s and ’60s, such as a large headstock, a truss rod accessible from the headstock via a bullet nut, and a three-point neck joint.
The body is believed to be ash based on the grain visible in the pocket, and this is a truly captivating instrument with a cool black finish!
The neck is made of one-piece maple, and the date stamp (09035054) indicates it was manufactured in 1975.
It is equipped with three pickups featuring flat pole pieces and gray bobbins, which appear to be original.
The front pickup is from 1975; the center pickup is illegible; and the rear pickup is faded and hard to read, but is believed to be from 1974.
It has a crisp, clean tone that’s perfect for cutting through the mix, and when distorted, it delivers a trebly, punchy rock sound.
The three pots, 5-way selector switch, tuners (with some holes filled), frets, and nut have been replaced.
The fingerboard has been leveled and refinished, and the back of the neck has been relacquered.
Overall, there are signs of use such as scratches, dents, and paint chipping, but considering its age, it is in good condition.
Thanks to the replacement of the frets and nut, it plays very well.
This Stratocaster features excellent pedal response and a sparkling sound, offering a charm unique to this era.
Please consider taking advantage of this opportunity.
