We have received an early Fender Japan '57 Stratocaster with an "E" serial number.
This is one of the premier early Fender Japan models, considered a flagship of Japan Vintage guitars.
The metal parts show some tarnish, and the body has dents and scuffs overall, along with other minor scratches and signs of age and wear.
The tremolo arm and original case are missing.
While it does not adversely affect playability, there is some fret wear. Additionally, although there is still room for adjustment, the truss rod feels stiff when turned.
While there are signs of use throughout, after we received this item, we replaced the strings with new ones and our repair department performed a thorough cleaning, maintenance, and setup on all parts.
