[SN 741910] USED MARTIN / DM [03]
Introduced in 1996, the āDMā was developed to deliver Martinās signature powerful Dreadnought sound at a more accessible price point. The combination of a solid spruce top and laminated mahogany sides and back produces rich volume and a well-balanced tone. Featuring a simple satin finish, this USA-made Martin remains highly popular today for its practicality.
Key specifications include a solid spruce top, laminated mahogany sides and back, a select hardwood neck, a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, a scale length of approximately 645mm, and a standard C-shaped neck with an actual nut width of approximately 42.9mm.
As for its condition, there are quite a few dents, scratches, tarnished metal parts, and peeling paint; it shows signs of aging and wear commensurate with its age.
There is a slight bulge on the top below the bridge.
The neck has a slight forward bow, with minor twisting and a raised neck. As a result, the current string action at the 12th fret is 3.0 mm on the 6th string side and 2.0 mm on the 1st string side. The truss rod has been checked for movement up to 60 degrees in both directions, but the instrument is being offered as-is. The frets have been leveled, so there are no significant irregularities, and approximately 60% of the original frets remain.
Additionally, the binding has been re-glued at our in-house repair center.
The original hard case is included.
This is a guitar that allows you to fully enjoy the powerful yet warm sound unique to Martin guitars made in the USA. Since it has undergone repair and maintenance, you can use it with confidence.
Please consider purchasing this guitar as soon as possible.
