We’ve just received a used 2017 Gibson Memphis/Historic Series 1963 ES-335TD Historic Burst!
The "Memphis Historic Series" is crafted using the same methods and parts as the Nashville Custom Shop's "Historic Collection."
It features a maple/poplar/maple laminated body, a one-piece mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard.
The neck shape is a "Medium C-Shape."
It is equipped with two pickups believed to be original "MHS Humbuckers."
It features pickups designed specifically for the ES series that capture the delicate sound unique to this body style.
Regarding the condition, there are areas with light scuff marks and scratches throughout the body.
The metal parts show some tarnish.
There is a dent on the tapered part of the headstock. Additionally, there are marks on the headstock that appear to be from clip-on tuners or stickers, but these are only visible under a blacklight and are virtually unnoticeable in normal light.
Condition Grade: B+: Some minor scratches, but no issues for normal use
