This is the Yamaha Tenor Saxophone YTS-62. It is the first-generation model and was considered a professional-grade saxophone at the time. It is highly popular as a "Japan Vintage" instrument; I find it has a light yet solid tone and a nimble playing feel. Although the sound is nimble, it has a certain density that gives it a solid, rich depth. While there are some marks from dent repairs and areas where the lacquer has chipped off, I believe the overall condition is well-preserved. All pads have been replaced and the instrument has been fully adjusted.
