We have received a used OVATION/N868 Nakao Elite.
Key specifications include a flamed maple top, a Lyracord Super Shallow Bowl body, a 5-piece mahogany/maple neck, an ebony fingerboard, a 25.25-inch scale length, a nut width of approximately 42.5 mm (measured), and the OP-24 preamp system.
As for its condition, there are quite a few dents, scratches, and signs of tarnish and rust on the metal parts; it shows signs of aging and wear commensurate with its age. There is a slight bulge on the top below the bridge.
The neck showed signs of twisting, so we have performed corrective measures at our repair center. It currently has a slight forward bow, but this does not pose any major issues for playing. String action at the 12th fret is 2.5 mm on the 6th string and 2.0 mm on the 1st string; the truss rod has approximately 1/4 of a turn remaining. The frets have been leveled, so there are no significant irregularities, and approximately 70% of the original frets remain.
