[SN 152] USED ORGANIC SOUNDS / THE TOWER (Blue Letter) [03]
From Organic Soundsā extensive collection of vintage Big Muff Rams Head pedals, we analyzed and compared them using the balance of the Reactor Tower Knob Violet as a benchmark. We then reconstructed the pedal to express the unique, aged harmonics, raw character, and dynamic range of vintage models, while making it even more user-friendly.
All four transistors use different model numbers. By using carefully selected components tailored to their specific roles, weāve created a sound that cuts through while preserving vintage nuances.
It also responds well to the guitarās volume control, allowing you to create a crisp crunch sound by rolling back the volume.
Controls include Volume, Tone, and Gain (L to R).
In the Lo Gain setting, it produces a crunchy sound with an OD Fuzz-like sense of the original tone. As you increase the Gain, unique harmonics are added, and at Max, it becomes a dirty Hi Gain Fuzz Distortion. From Lo Gain to Hi Gain, it delivers a powerful vintage sound at every point.
Whether used with single-coil or humbucker pickups, this Hi-Gain Fuzz Distortion preserves the instrumentās natural character and is suitable for a wide range of genres.
