We have received a used MARTIN/00-15M.
This all-mahogany model from the 15 Series is reminiscent of the original 00-15 from the 1920s. Featuring the easy-to-hold body characteristic of the 00 size, along with a solid mahogany top and mahogany sides and back, it offers a warm midrange and a mellow, sweet tone.
Key specifications include a solid mahogany top, mahogany sides and back, a select hardwood neck, an Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, a scale length of approximately 645mm, a nut width of approximately 42.9mm, a Modified Low Oval neck profile, and a satin finish.
As for its condition, there are dents, scratches, and some tarnish on the metal parts, and it shows signs of aging and wear commensurate with its age.
There is a slight bulge on the top below the bridge.
The neck exhibited slight warping, so we have performed corrective measures at our repair center. The current playing condition is generally good, with no major issues. String action at the 12th fret is 2.5 mm on the 6th string side and 2.0 mm on the 1st string side; the truss rod has been checked and can be adjusted up to 60 degrees in either direction.
The frets have been leveled, so there are no significant irregularities, and approximately 70% of the original frets remain.
There is a very slight peel on the lower left front of the bridge, but this does not currently pose a major problem.
The tuning pegs have been replaced, but the guitar will be delivered as is. Please note that the original tuning pegs are also included.
Additionally, an L.R. Baggs M80 pickup has been installed. The electronics are functioning properly, and the output is fine.
The original hard case is included.
