Released in 2024, this model recreates the āL-serialā used from mid-1963 through mid-1965.
Featuring the "Spaghetti" logo and clay dots for the position markers, this model faithfully recreates the specifications of the first half of 1964.
It also recreates the distinctive āTarget 3-Tone Sunburstā finishāa shade with a stronger yellow hue than the early ā60s sunburstāa feature sure to delight fans.
Featuring a select two-piece alder body that follows the narrower body widths of that era, a lift-sawn maple neck in the āā63 Strat Style Cā shape with just the right grip, and a round-laminated rosewood fingerboard with a 7.25āā9.5ā compound radius and Medium Vintage frets, this model offers a vintage-like appearance combined with excellent playability.
It is equipped with Hand-Wound Fat '64 pickups. Its appeal lies in its range from a clear, sweet tone to a robust, presence-filled overdrive sound.
