[SN 738785] USED MARTIN / DM [03]

[SN 738785] USED MARTIN / DM [03]

A used MARTIN/DM has arrived in stock.

Introduced in 1996, the ā€œDMā€ was developed to deliver Martin’s signature powerful Dreadnought sound at a more accessible price point. The combination of a solid spruce top and laminated mahogany sides and back produces a rich volume and well-balanced tone. Featuring a simple satin finish, this USA-made Martin remains highly popular today for its practicality.

Key specifications include a solid spruce top, laminated mahogany sides and back, a select hardwood neck, a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, a scale length of approximately 645mm, and a standard C-shaped neck with a measured nut width of approximately 42.9mm.

Regarding its condition, there are significant dents, scratches, paint peeling, and tarnish on the metal parts, showing signs of aging and wear commensurate with its age. There is slight bulging on the top beneath the bridge.

The neck has a slight forward bow. Since it exhibited a high neck when it arrived, our repair center performed an iron correction. There are currently no major issues affecting playability. String action at the 12th fret is 2.5 mm on the 6th string side and 2.0 mm on the 1st string side; the truss rod has been checked and can be adjusted up to 60 degrees in either direction. The saddle is set low, and the frets have been leveled, so there are no significant irregularities, with approximately 60% of the original frets remaining.

Additionally, our in-house repair center has re-glued the bridge and leveled the frets.

It comes with the original hard case.

This is a guitar that allows you to fully enjoy the powerful yet warm sound unique to Martin guitars made in the USA. Since it has undergone repair and maintenance, you can use it with confidence.

Please consider purchasing this guitar as soon as possible.
