This is the Yamaha 700 Series BB734A, a 5-string bass with a bolt-on joint that carries on the legacy of the legendary BB series.
It features a 3-ply alder/maple/alder body, a 5-piece maple/mahogany neck, a rosewood fingerboard, an 863.6mm scale length, a 600R radius, and a 43mm nut. The pickups are YGD V7 P/J (Alnico V) in a PJ configuration, and it includes a volume control, balance control, 3-band EQ, and an active/passive switch.
This 4-string model offers the rich, full-bodied tone characteristic of the classic BB series along with excellent playability. With a through-body bridge, mitered bolted joint, and 3-band EQ, it allows for a wide range of sound shaping and is ideal for home recording.
Although the truss rod is completely loose, the neck is currently in good condition.
There are some minor scuffs, but nothing that detracts from the overall appearance.
