Manlay Soundâs âSuper Benderâ is a handmade fuzz pedal that faithfully recreates the legend of the Tone Bender MK2. It was named âSuper Benderâ as a tribute to the Supa Fuzz and Sola Sound Tone Bender MK2 Professional (both of which share the same circuit), which were popular in the late 1960s.The Tone Bender MK2 is also famous for being used by Jimmy Page from the later days of the Yardbirds through the early Led Zeppelin albums.
The MK2 circuit features three germanium transistors, which are carefully hand-selected by builder Roman Zill and thoroughly tuned until the optimal sound is achieved.
It offers infinite sustain and a fantastic tone. With the Super Bender, you can experience a wide variety of distortion sounds simply by adjusting your guitarâs volume or attack control.
