[SN T000753] USED Fender Japan / Yngwie Malmsteen Signature Model / STW-230YM Yellow White [05]
Since his debut on the music scene, Yngwie Malmsteen—one of the most influential figures in the music world—has consistently been at the forefront of the industry thanks to his exceptional playing skills, and continues to gain followers worldwide to this day.
The STW-230YM we’ve received is a double-neck model produced in the mid-1990s.
While it appears to be a standard double-neck configuration with 6-string and 12-string necks, both fingerboards feature a full scalloped design.
Both pickups share the same layout, featuring Dimarzio HS-3s in the front and rear positions, and an ST-Vintage in the center.
Although there are almost no signs of use, it appears the guitar was not stored properly, resulting in some discoloration of the parts and minor rust in certain areas.
Additionally, since the body finish was severely damaged upon arrival, we took the time to have it refinished at a specialized repair shop using the same color scheme as the original.
It comes with a full set of accessories, including the original hard case (with some damage), a truss rod adjustment wrench, tremolo arm springs, a DiMarzio clip-lock strap (DD2200W) that was included as an original accessory, a tag (stamped with the model name and signed by the inspection department), a sticker (signed with the model name),STW-230 CONTROL (paper manual), Owner’s Manual, a protective cloth for the body, and a case key.
