BB700 Series
A versatile model featuring a 3-band active equalizer for precise sound shaping and switchable active/passive modes. Constructed with a 3-ply alder/maple/alder body. The miter-bolted neck joint creates a powerful, resonant sound that integrates seamlessly with the body. Equipped with a convertible-type bridge that can be adjusted to suit your preferences.

The new BB series features a 3-ply alder/maple/alder body construction. The hard maple sandwiched between the alder on both sides enriches the midrange and produces a resonant body tone that blends seamlessly into the band’s sound. Furthermore, the use of maple for the body allows for direct sound transmission from the maple neck, reducing sound loss between the body and neck and ensuring that string vibrations are reliably captured.
Newly Developed YGD Custom V7 Pickup
Equipped with a newly developed, proprietary pickup. Combined with the alder/maple/alder body construction, it delivers a clear, cutting sound that stands out in a band setting. Available on the 700 Grade and Pro Grade models.
Active Circuit
The 700 Grade of the new BB allows you to switch between active and passive circuits with the flip of a switch. The active circuit is tuned specifically for the new BB’s well-defined tone. Furthermore, the treble knob on the 3-band equalizer functions as the master tone control when using the passive circuit; it is designed with such precision that there is no change in volume when switching modes.This allows for smooth, stress-free switching with natural tone adjustments. High-quality, gold-plated parts are used to minimize the risk of poor contact or sound quality degradation. The battery alert LED on the back panel lights up to warn you when it’s time to replace the batteries, preventing sudden power loss on stage.
Controller Section
The new BB700 grade features a 3-band active equalizer, as well as an active/passive circuit switch and a pickup balancer that flexibly accommodate the player’s desired tone.
