There are many legendary models among the drive pedals that Char has used.
Among them, we thoroughly tested the sounds of multiple units, including Char’s own Klon CENTAUR—which he particularly favored and used for many years—and a VEMURAM unit that we believe has exceptional sound quality.
Furthermore, since Char creates his signature drive sound not just with the drive pedal alone, but by combining it with the boost sounds of units like the Roland CE-1 and Watkins Copicat, we began development with the goal of creating a new drive sound that reflects these nuances as well.
Over the course of more than a year of development, Char himself used sample units on stage countless times, and through repeated design changes and tuning based on that feedback, the pedal evolved into the new medium-gain drive sound we were aiming for.
There are some minor scratches, but it shows little wear and is in relatively good condition.
There are currently no operational issues.
