[SN U1 6356] USED RICKENBACKER / 4001V63 Jetglo [06]
A used Rickenbacker 4001V63 has arrived!!
Manufactured in 1998
Maple body with a through-neck design, rosewood fingerboard, and dot inlays.
Compared to the standard 4001/4003 models, it has a more rounded body shape, providing a comfortable fit when held and making it easy to play.
It’s equipped with a Vintage Toaster pickup in the front and a Horseshoe pickup in the rear, faithfully reproducing the warm, low-gain sound of that era—it’s absolutely fantastic!
Considering its age, the exterior is in relatively good condition, though there are some buckle marks, minor dents, and scuffs.
There is a crack in the finish at the base of the neck.
The truss rod cover and pickguard have been replaced, and the mounting screw holes have been drilled in slightly offset positions.
The strap pins have been replaced with locking ones, and the strap-side parts are missing.
The neck is generally in good condition, and there is plenty of play left in the truss rod.
The wiring is original.
The case is likely a 1970s Rickenbacker hard case.
