A used Gibson USA ES-175 Vintage Sunburst has just arrived!!
Made in the USA in 1994. It features a laminated maple body in a Florentine cutaway shape, a mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, and is equipped with original 57 Classic pickups.
It has a powerful tone and is a versatile instrument suitable for a wide range of genres, from jazz to blues.
The entire guitar has been over-lacquered, and there are lines visible in various places that appear to be buffing marks. There are traces of paint touch-ups on the headstock top and near the front pickup.
There is a crack in the finish at the base of the neck that appears to be weather checking.
There is a crack in the control knob, but it does not affect playability.
The pickguard has likely been replaced.
Additionally, there is rust and tarnish on the metal parts, as well as scratches and dents on the body, all consistent with the instrument’s age.
There is a musty odor in both the case and the instrument itself.
