[SN J784254] USED GRECO / SA700 Walnut [06]
The pickups are Duncan models, featuring the classic combination of a JB at the bridge and a Jazz at the neck. The tuning pegs have been replaced with locking pegs, and the bridge and tailpiece have also been upgraded to GOTOH components.
There is a widespread deposit on the body top that appears to be a re-finish.
Cracks are visible all around the binding, and there are signs that areas where the binding had peeled off were repaired and then roughly over-lacquered. Since there are areas where paint splatter from this process remains on the top and others where attempts to wipe it off failed, the surface finish is rough and does not look clean when viewed up close. Additionally, the binding on the neck side near the 1st string has been patched where it peeled off, and there are signs of a neck refinish.Since the color of the added binding is pure white, it does not match the rest of the instrument in some areas.
Otherwise, there are scratches and dents throughout the instrument that have been covered by the finish, giving it a distinctive, well-worn character.
