We’ve just received a used FENDER USA FSR American Vintage 62 Jazz Bass 3-Knob Lake Placid Blue!
According to the manufacturer’s specifications, this model is listed as the “AM VINTAGE 62 JAZZ BASS LPB EXP” and features a Lake Placid Blue lacquer finish—a color not found in the standard lineup.
Based on the 1962 Jazz Bass, this model features the classic ’60s combination of an alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard. The back of the neck has a satin finish.
The pickguard has been replaced. The finger rest is missing.
There are some areas of discoloration on the body, as well as a small dent on the headstock and buckle marks, paint chipping, and scratches on the back of the body.
While there are other minor scuffs, dents, and some tarnish on the metal parts, this is still a fully playable instrument.
It has been cleaned and fully adjusted since arrival and plays perfectly.
