[SN E635673] USED Fender Japan / ST72-55 OWH/R (Olympic White) E-Series [3.52 kg / Manufactured 1984–1987] Made by Fujigen, Fender Japan [08]
This ST72 features a 1972-style large headstock, modern logo, three-point neck joint, and a bridge with die-cast saddles—all hallmarks of the 70s-style ST72. It boasts a basswood body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, three ST-CURRENT (Japan) pickups, a 5-way selector switch, and Gotoh Rotomatic tuners.
This striking 70s-style model is characterized by its crisp, clean sound.
Signs of use are visible (touch-up on a dent on the 6th string horn, minor scratches and scuffs on the headstock tip and body perimeter, wear and playing marks, picking marks, ring marks on the back of the neck, paint cracks at the joint, tarnish and pitting on metal parts and screws, and other cosmetic damage).
Set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling). The frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions (tightening and loosening); it has been tested to operate within ±60° and is in good working order.
