[SN 1604559] USED Martin / HD-28V (2012) Martin Acoustic Guitar [08]
The HD-28V—which has unfortunately been discontinued—is now in stock as a used model!
A reissue of the pre-war D-28, first introduced in 1984. (Vintage Series)
It features an all-solid Dreadnought body with a spruce top and Indian rosewood sides and back.
The top, treated with aging toner, features herringbone trim, forward-shifted scalloped X-bracing, and an ebony bridge with a long saddle.
The select hardwood neck (Modified V Shape) has a nut width of just over 42.5 mm and a 25.4" long scale, and is fitted with an ebony fingerboard.
The headstock is equipped with open-back tuning pegs.
Made in the USA at the Nazareth factory
------------------------------------------
Serviced at a renowned guitar workshop!
The neck heel gap has been glued, the fingerboard has been repaired, the frets have been replaced (Jesscar Vintage), and the nut and saddle have been replaced (both made of cow bone); the peeling back binding has also been repaired.
The truss rod has been checked for movement up to 60 degrees in both directions and is in good condition; since the frets have been replaced, there is still plenty of life left in them.
There is a repair mark (with crack stopper) on the center seam of the body top.
There is paint discoloration on both sides of the top (indicating contact with something).
Due to age, there is a step at the joint between the binding and the body.
There are scattered dents on the body, the back of the neck (mainly on the low-position side), and the top of the headstock.
The back of the neck has developed a sheen from playing.
There are also some playing scratches, scuffs, and minor dents, but playability is good.
Its outstanding response and deep, rich sustain are truly captivating!
You can enjoy playing it in any style—whether strumming or fingerstyle!
