[SN 0 2460] USED Greco / EGC-550 BLK [08]
This is an LPC-type model featuring a slit diamond inlay with the so-called āsingle-eyeā bolt-on design and an āO-cutā logo. It has a maple top and mahogany back, a mahogany neck with a volute, a rosewood fingerboard, and is equipped with the original dual humbucker pickups.
Highly regarded both domestically and internationally, the early ā90s Greco EGC-550 is known for its powerful tone and ample output.
There are signs of wear (minor scratches and scuffs around the headstock and along the bodyās outer edges; paint cracks and peeling; scuffs, wipe marks, picking marks, buckle marks; a crack in the pickup escutcheon; tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts and screws; and other cosmetic damage).
It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and string height adjustment). The frets are at a height that poses no problem for playing, and the truss rod is tightened to its limit, resulting in a forward bow.
