[SN Q023862] USED Fender Japan / JB62-75US MOD OTM [4.19 kg / Manufactured 2002–2004] Fender Japan [08]
The JB62-75US features a slab-jointed rosewood fingerboard and follows the 1962-style design with a "spaghetti" logo. It has an alder body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, and a bridge equipped with spiral saddles.
This Jazz Bass, with its alder body and distinctive sound character, is highly recommended for home recording.
The four tuning machines have been replaced with GOTOH models, the joint plate has been changed to a Freedom Custom Guitar Research Tone Shift Plate, a finger rest has been added, additional pickup fender holes have been drilled, and each pickup is a Fender model with different specifications (model number unknown).Signs of use are visible (including minor scratches, scuffs, and paint chips around the headstock and body perimeter; scuffs, wipe marks, picking marks, buckle marks; and cosmetic damage such as tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts and screws).
Set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret leveling, and peg hole drilling). The originally narrow fret tops have been leveled to a lower profile but remain at a height suitable for playing. The truss rod has been tested to 60 degrees in both directions and is in good working order.
