[SN O039998] USED Fender Japan / JB62-58 3TS (3-Tone Sunburst) [4.22 kg / Manufactured 1997–2000] Fender Japan [08]

[SN O039998] USED Fender Japan / JB62-58 3TS (3-Tone Sunburst) [4.22 kg / Manufactured 1997–2000] Fender Japan [08]

This is a Fender Japan Jazz Bass JB62-58, manufactured between 1997 and 2000 during the “red tortoiseshell pickguard” era.

A 60s-style Jazz Bass that follows the classic ’62 style. It features a basswood body, a slab-joined rosewood fingerboard, JB Single (JAPAN) pickups, and a 34-inch long scale with 20 frets.

This instrument offers the classic Jazz Bass sound that shines in ensemble settings and is also a valuable asset for recording.

There are signs of wear (cosmetic damage such as minor scratches, scuffs, wear marks, wipe marks, picking marks, and tarnish, pitting, or rust on metal parts and screws around the headstock and along the body’s outer edges).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and action adjustment). The originally narrow fret tops have been filed down to a lower profile but remain at a height suitable for playing, and the instrument is in good working order even with the truss rod loosened.

Condition Grade: B+: Some scratches are present, but the instrument is suitable for normal use.
