[SN J907067] USED Epiphone / TB-90 Vintage Sunburst (VS) Made in Japan [4.14 kg / Manufactured in 1999] Epiphone Made in Japan [08]
Produced as a Japan-exclusive model, this TB features specifications reminiscent of the original 1960s designāsuch as nickel pickup covers and rings, and the headstock designāwhich are its main attractions. It features a set-neck joint with a mahogany neck and mahogany body, a rosewood fingerboard, and is equipped with two TB humbuckers.
This short-run model boasts a striking appearance and a rich, full-bodied sound.
Three knobs have been replaced. There are signs of wear (including minor scratches and scuffs on the outer edges, paint chips, scuffs, playing lines, picking marks, string marks on the pickup covers, and tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage). The caseās zipper has dug into the fabric, effectively rendering it functional on only one side.
Setup was performed upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret leveling, and neck straightening). The originally narrow fret tops have been leveled to a lower profile but remain at a height suitable for playing. The truss rod has been tested up to 60 degrees in both directions and is in good condition (with approximately 60 degrees of adjustment remaining on the tightening side).
