A fretless model without a pickguard from Fender Japan’s limited-edition “KANDA ORDER” collection.
This Fender Japan Limited Collection model was commissioned by the distributor at the time, Kanda Shokai. It features a 1960s-style transition logo, an alder body, a glossy-finished maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, and is a fretless Jazz Bass (JB62-FL) manufactured between 1991 and 1992 (made by Fujigen). (Neck Date: 1991)
Featuring a classic alder body and rosewood fingerboard with line markings for excellent visibility, this is a great choice for those new to fretless basses.
The strap pin on the back of the headstock has been replaced; the case is not original, and there is no pickguard. There are signs of wear (such as minor scratches, scuffs, scuffs, wipe marks, tarnish or pitting on metal parts and screws, and other cosmetic damage).
It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and action adjustment); the truss rod has been checked to move 60 degrees to the left and right and is in good working order.
