Based on the FOUNTAIN 2025 ver., this model adds an additional stage of hard clipping, giving the smooth overdrive a distortion-like bite and a gritty, tenacious character.
While it may be slightly less smooth and have a slightly narrower dynamic range than the standard version, it is optimally tuned for standalone useāwhere you donāt rely primarily on amp compressionāand for lead playing, making it a more assertive and versatile version of the FOUNTAIN.
The basic specifications are the same as the FOUNTAIN 2025 ver., but the sound is different.
* Since it operates on an internal 30V power supply, battery use is not supported.
Additionally, using an external battery snap will not produce the intended sound, so battery use is not permitted.
