[SN 732068] USED Gibson Custom / Japan Limited Run 1957 Les Paul Standard VOS Sparkling Burgundy [4.01 kg / Manufactured in 2023] Gibson Custom [08]

Japan Limited Run / Limited Edition Model for Japanese Dealers. This is a 1957 Les Paul Standard Sparkling Burgundy from the Gibson Custom Shop, manufactured in 2023.

Featuring Grover tuners reminiscent of the legendary Japanese guitarist’s ā€œNumber Three,ā€ a black pickup escutcheon, and a white pickguard in a Sparkling Burgundy finish. It features a maple top and mahogany back, with a mahogany neck finished in the Authentic '59 Medium C-Shape profile—a slim profile despite its '57-style design—and a rosewood fingerboard. It is equipped with unpotted Custom Buckers, top-hat-style knobs, and nickel-plated hardware.

It incorporates striking components in key areas. The result is a highly playable model with a look that connoisseurs will appreciate.

It features an original, characterful VOS (Vintage Oil Stain) finish. Although there are some dents on the horn near the 1st string and slight signs of wear (scratches, wipe marks, picking marks, etc.), it is in good condition.

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling). The frets are at a height that poses no issues for playing, and the truss rod has been verified to function properly within a range of 60° to either side.
