It is the original jumbo-body model from Yamahaās flagship āLā series of acoustic guitars. It features an Engelmann spruce top treated with āA.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) technology,ā rosewood sides and back, a 5-piece mahogany/rosewood neck, a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, and a battery-free passive pickup.
Despite its jumbo body, it features a design thatās easy to hold, a well-balanced sound, and is a ready-to-play model that can also be used as an electro-acoustic guitar.
There are signs of wear (such as scuffs, play marks, picking marks on the top and pickguard film, and tarnish or pitting on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage).
It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, deburring, and fret shaping); the frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod has been checked to operate smoothly from 60Ā° to either side with no issues.
