[SN IML210051] YAMAHA / A Series AC3R ARE VN Vintage Natural Electro-Acoustic Guitar [09]
In our quest to create guitars that deliver ideal performance, the A Series was designed to adapt to a variety of lifestyles.
It features the new âSRT2â pickup system, which allows you to instantly and easily produce the guitarâs natural acoustic sound when connected to a PA system.
Features such as the neckâs back finish and edge profilingâwhich boast excellent playabilityâalong with newly designed scalloped bracing, deliver a powerful and expressive tone.
The A Series takes your playing to the next level, anytime, anywhere.
By incorporating feedback from numerous guitarists and engineersâsuch as chamfering the edges of the fingerboard and carefully refining the neck taper to ensure a comfortable grip even near the body jointâweâve pursued a natural playing feel and superior playability.
Itâs easy to play even in the higher frets, and the transition from an electric guitar feels seamless, delivering exceptional playability in a variety of settings, including live performances, recording, and practice.
Using Yamahaâs proprietary analysis technology, weâve refined the bracing system, incorporating newly designed scalloped bracing on the top and bracing specifically developed for cutaway models on the back. This achieves a rich, full-bodied soundâdespite the cutaway designâalong with powerful resonance in the mid-to-low frequency range.
The body features a cutaway and a tapered folk-style shape; it is all-solid, with Sitka spruce on the top treated with Yamahaâs proprietary âA.R.E. treatmentâ and rosewood for the sides and back.
The pickup system utilizes the newly developed âSRT2â system, a further evolution of the âSRT (Studio Response Technology)â system.
While retaining the sound quality characteristics of the âSRTâ systemâwhich produces an atmospheric acoustic sound reminiscent of a recording made by a top-tier sound engineer in a studioâthe model achieves high usability suitable for stage performances and practice sessions by carefully selecting and simplifying its functions.
In terms of appearance, while avoiding flashy embellishments, the use of wood for the binding around the body and the soundhole inlay creates an organic, high-quality impression that conveys the warmth of the wood.
The pickguard features a striking design inspired by the âN1000â acoustic guitar, a model beloved by top artists in the 1970s.
