This is a 1983 JV-serial 57 Stratocaster.
The body is alder, and the neck and fingerboard are maple.
The truss rod turns but has no effect, so the neck cannot be adjusted. Additionally, the frets are generally low and flat, and the neck currently shows slight forward bow and twist. The instrument will be delivered in its current condition.
We have corrected the nut slots, replaced the pickup selector (5-way), and replaced the rubber springs.
There are scratches, dents, and paint peeling on the headstock; the back of the neck has scratches and dents accompanied by dents; and the fingerboard has scratches and paint peeling.
The body has numerous scratches, dents, and paint peeling; the control panel on the back of the body has cracks and chips; the pickguard is warped and lifting; and the metal parts show rust, tarnish, and pitting.
