The CLIMAX BASS, produced for a brief period in the 1990s.
The neck and fingerboard are made of maple. It features one MFD humbucker pickup, a mini-switch for active/passive mode selection, and a mini-switch to turn the preamp on and off.
The truss rod has very little play left. At this time, it has virtually no impact on playability. The guitar will be sold as-is.
The pickups have been rewound, and the frets have been leveled.
The finger rest on the front of the body has been removed, and there are traces of paint peeling in that area where the screw holes were filled; however, a broken screw is currently lodged in one of those screw holes.
The strap pin is a locking type, but the corresponding locking pin on the opposite side is missing.
There are scratches and dents on the headstock, and on the back of the headstock there are areas that appear to have had screw holes filled in; there are also scratches and dents accompanied by indentations on the fingerboard and the back of the neck.
There are numerous scratches and dents on the body; a dent accompanied by paint peeling is particularly noticeable beneath the control panel on the back of the body, and the metal parts show some tarnish and pitting.
There are other signs of wear and discoloration, but the overall condition is good.
