[SN L69722] USED Fender USA / 1965 Jaguar Sunburst MOD [10]

[SN L69722] USED Fender USA / 1965 Jaguar Sunburst MOD [10]

A 1965 Fender Jaguar with upgrades has arrived!

A vintage Fender Jaguar has arrived.
Based on the serial number, pot dates (a mix of 1964 and 1965), the sunburst finish, and the characteristics of the fingerboard, we believe this guitar was built in 1965.
Underneath the neck plate and preset control plate, traces of the three-color sunburst’s red layer remain, showing a subtle fade.
As for the overall condition of the body, this instrument is now in its 61st year.
While there are signs of various age-related wear and deterioration of the plating on the metal parts, there is no critical damage, so it is in good enough condition to play right away.
Furthermore, there are no signs of irregularity or tampering in the solder work on the control circuitry; therefore, it appears to be fully original and ā€œsolder-virgin,ā€ including the pickups (black bobbins), pots, capacitors, resistors, and wiring.
As for parts other than the mods, the configuration is based on historical accuracy: the tuning pegs (Kluson Deluxe Double Line), string guides, the neck seam in the neck pocket (thick black Vulcan fiber), the pickguard, and the square aluminum shield plate attached to the pickguard with adhesive tape (featuring a KASER print), as well as the floating tremolo and strap buttons—many of these appear to be original parts.

Control components: Preset volume / 1 MEG LIN 6506, Preset tone / 50K LIN 6438, Preset capacitor / .01K,Bright Switch Capacitor / 0.003, Volume Pot / 1MEG AUD 6509, Tone Pot / 1MEG AUD 6508, Tone Capacitor / 0.01K, Tone Resistor / 56K (all capacitors are Circle D)

MOD (Upgrade/Modification) Details
(1) Fret & Nut Replacement: Narrow-tall type, medium jumbo size frets (possibly JD6105 or Jescarr #55090, etc.)
(2) Bridge Unit: GOTOH (Goto Gut) GE103B-T type
