[SN 108202] USED Fender / 1965 Mustang B-neck Olympic White [10]

[SN 108202] USED Fender / 1965 Mustang B-neck Olympic White [10]

A 1965 Mustang with an early-production slab fingerboard has arrived!
A 1965 Mustang B-neck in Olympic White has arrived!
The neck date is 8NOV65B and the pot date is 137-6542, confirming it is a genuine 1965 model.
The pickguard, nut, and tuners have been replaced, and the frets still retain a decent amount of height for a Fender from this era, so it may have been refretted in the past.
The pickups have black bobbins, but based on the wiring and solder condition, they appear to be from the same era. The pickup date is difficult to see, and the numbers cannot be clearly confirmed, but it is marked. Since this was a transitional period, we have determined that the pickups were either original or replaced with ones from the same era.
The sound features the characteristic richness and rolling harmonics unique to a Vintage Mustang.
The phaser sound is also exceptional, with a pleasant crispness—truly a Vintage Fender-quality finish.
The back of the neck and the entire headstock have been relacquered, but with shims in place, the string action is average, the frets still have good height, and it’s in a very playable condition. The electronics and bridge parts—which are crucial to the sound—have been left intact, and only parts requiring reliability, such as the tuners, have been replaced, making this an ideal “player’s condition” instrument.
With vintage Mustangs becoming more expensive every year, don’t miss this opportunity!
