Made in Mexico in 2018. Weāve received a used BT2 in stock.
The top is solid mahogany, while the sides and back are sapele plywood. The neck is mahogany, and the bridge and fingerboard are ebony.
It features an arched back design, which produces a soft, warm tone.
The neck features the bolt-on joint unique to Baby Taylor guitars. It offers stable, stress-free playability all the way up to the high frets.
The entire guitar has a matte finish, though some areasāsuch as the back of the neck and parts of the topāhave developed a slight sheen due to playing. There is some slight warping around the bridge, but it is minor and does not affect playability.
As such, while it shows some signs of use typical of a pre-owned instrument, it plays well and is in good condition.
There is plenty of adjustment left on the truss rod, and the neck is in good condition.
The original gig case is included.
