A stunning take on the Dumble sound!
GLADIO is a 2-channel preamp developed with the goal of recreating the sound of the legendary Dumble amp.
CH1 was inspired by Robben Fordās āCannonball Shuffle.ā It delivers a smooth, creamy sound. Itās extremely clear and responds delicately to your touch. Controls include GAIN, TONE, VOLUME, and a COMP toggle switch that lets you choose between two different compression levels.
CH2 delivers a slightly fuzzy, hard-driving sound inspired by slide guitar master Sonny Landreth. Controls include GAIN, TONE, VOLUME, and a JAZZ / ROCK toggle switch, allowing you to select the overall frequency response similar to a Dumble.
The center toggle switch allows you to select between two different operating modes.
In āSā (Single) mode, only one channel can be used at a time. Pressing the footswitch for one of the two channels turns the other channel off.
In āDā Double Mode, you can turn each channel on and off individually or use both channels simultaneously.
The sense of compression, saturation, and delicate touch response realistically reproduce the feel of a vacuum tube. That is why we call it a preamp rather than an overdrive. You can enjoy a wide range of sounds by switching between two different sounds or combining them simultaneously.
Overall, there are signs of wear such as tarnish and dirt on the metal, but it functions perfectly.
