[SN CZ585049] USED Fender Custom Shop / Custom Built 1961 Stratocaster NOS Mercedes Blue [10]
We have received the Custom Build Series, a one-off, special-order category from Fender Custom Shop’s recent lineup.
This 2025 model is a custom order commissioned by our staff, inspired by vintage 1960 Stratocasters—similar to the Time Machine series—and incorporating specifications from around 1961 (such as decal logos).
The finish is NOS spec, and the color is Mercedes Blue.
Current Condition
There are some scratches, likely from routine maintenance, but they are minimal, and the guitar retains a beautiful appearance indistinguishable from when it was new.
There are no irregularities or signs of tampering in the solder work on the controls, so we believe it is in full original condition, including the pickups.
There are no signs of heavy use or rough handling, so there is no noticeable damage.
Furthermore, there are no signs of heavy-duty playing, and the protective vinyl on the pickguard and tremolo back panel has not been removed.
