[SN JD22019868] USED Fender / Made in Japan Takashi Kato Stratocaster Paradise Blue 2022 [10]

[SN JD22019868] USED Fender / Made in Japan Takashi Kato Stratocaster Paradise Blue 2022 [10]

Thanks to its exceptional craftsmanship, this guitar is a favorite among many professional artists!
A 2022 Made in Japan Takashi Kato Stratocaster in Paradise Blue has arrived!
Based on the iconic 1965 Stratocaster—commonly known as “Driftwood”—that Takashi Kato of the Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra has cherished for many years, this model reimagines the vintage style for the modern era!
In addition to the “Paradise Blue” finish—which recreates the unique depth achieved by the aging of the original “Lake Placid Blue”—this guitar features a neck pocket designed to be approximately 1mm deeper than standard to replicate the feel of a vintage guitar, along with a 41mm nut width and a slim 1965 “C” shape neck that’s easy to grip and fits naturally in the hand.
Furthermore, the “Custom Wired Vintage Style Single Coil” pickups—designed and developed specifically for this instrument—deliver a distinctive airiness and depth. All of these specifications come together in perfect harmony to recreate the playing feel and sound unique to vintage instruments.
Another delightful feature is the combination of the small headstock—a hallmark of the ’65 Strat—and the patent-pattern transition logo. The quality is so impressive that it’s no wonder not only Takashi Kato himself but also professional artists in Japan use this instrument.
The previous owner replaced the strap pins with Schaller-style locking pins; while the strap attachment is missing, this is a welcome feature for those who already use locking pins.
Despite the thin top lacquer finish, there are no noticeable chip marks or other flaws, and the guitar is in pristine condition.
This model remains popular even now, more than four years after its release! Please don’t miss this opportunity to purchase it!
