[SN 72999578] USED Gibson USA / 1979 The Paul Natural Walnut [11]

[SN 72999578] USED Gibson USA / 1979 The Paul Natural Walnut [11]

A 1979 ā€œThe Paulā€ featuring the clear sound unique to walnut wood and an original T-Top pickup.

First introduced in 1978, ā€œThe Paulā€ gained popularity for its simple appearance and practical specifications. This 1979 Natural Walnut model features a walnut body and neck, with an ebony fingerboard. It delivers a sound that retains the characteristic depth of a Les Paul while offering clear definition and excellent projection.

It is equipped with an original 1979-dated T-Top humbucker. With rich, vintage-style harmonics and excellent chord separation, it excels across a wide range of genres, from clean to overdriven tones.

This is a guitar we highly recommend to both players and collectors alike, as it fully captures the unique charm of the Norlin era.

The pots have been replaced with modern CTS 500kΩ units.
The finish on the neck grip has peeled off.
There is a large area of paint peeling on the body top, likely caused by picking.
There are numerous dents on the back of the body near the jack, accompanied by paint chipping. Additionally, there are scattered scratches, dents, metal tarnish, and rust throughout the guitar, giving it a well-worn appearance. It shows signs of wear appropriate for its age.
There are no noticeable issues with the neck, and it is in good playing condition.
