[SN MIJ E634991] USED Fender Japan / TL72-55M E Serial Red Bobbin Natural [11]

[SN MIJ E634991] USED Fender Japan / TL72-55M E Serial Red Bobbin Natural [11]

The TL72-55M is based on a 1970s Telecaster style and features the high level of craftsmanship characteristic of the E-serial era.
This is a Fujigen-made model from around 1986.

It features a classic configuration: a natural-colored SEN WOOD body paired with a one-piece maple neck.
This guitar combines a bright, responsive sound with the vintage-like character unique to the E-serial era.

Both the front and rear pickups feature red bobbins.
The front pickup has black-and-white leads, while the rear has yellow-and-black leads—a transitional specification typical of the era that adds to its charm.
The front pickup offers a delicate, clear tone, while the rear delivers the crisp, characteristic Telecaster sound; together, they produce a well-balanced sound in the center position.

The neck date is "3-7 86," and a "TL72-55" stamp is visible on the neck end.
The neck pocket bears a "NAT" stamp, and the overall consistency of the parts gives a natural impression.

This is a guitar that allows you to fully appreciate the fine craftsmanship typical of the increasingly highly regarded E-serial era, as well as the unique charm of a Japanese vintage model.
The TL72-55M is appealing not only for its practicality but also from a collector’s perspective.
The pickup selector has been replaced with a VLX54 lever switch.
There is red discoloration at the cutaway and headstock.
There is a crack at the neck joint.
Overall, there are scratches, dents, and rust on the metal, showing signs of use.
The neck has a slight backward bow on the G-string side and some twisting. There are currently no issues with playability.
