A custom model based on the 1966 Jazz Bass that incorporates the essence of the early stacked-knob era.
The American Vintage II series is a popular line that thoroughly researches the construction methods and specifications of the era to bring the charm of vintage Fender back to life today. This model features an alder body, a rosewood fingerboard with binding, a 1966 "U"-shaped neck, and Pure Vintage '66 Jazz Bass pickups, delivering the distinctive presence and powerful sound characteristic of mid-1960s Jazz Basses.
This instrument has been modified with stacked knobs for the control section and features CTS 250kΩ pots and paper-in-oil capacitors. Its appeal lies in its appearance, reminiscent of early Jazz Basses, and its vintage-oriented electronics configuration.
Additionally, the bridge has been replaced and the corresponding routing work has been performed.
Currently, a pickup guard that appears to be aftermarket is installed.
There is some paint chipping on the left side of the bridge.
There are some minor scratches and dents, but no particularly noticeable damage.
The neck shows no noticeable issues and is in good playing condition.
