Based on the 1962-spec Stratocaster, this popular model is a âCrafted in Japanâ instrument with serial number âO042241,â manufactured around 1997â2000. It features classic 1962-style specifications, including an alder body, a slab rosewood fingerboard, and a vintage-style 6-point tremolo bridge.
It is equipped with USA-made Texas Special pickups. Featuring black bobbins and cross-wound coils, these pickups deliver a thick, powerful midrange and a crisp, snappy attack. While retaining a vintage feel, they produce a distinctive sound that excels across a wide range of genres, from clean to crunch.
The selector switch and center tone pot were replaced due to defects.
A crack in the wood was found on the upper side of the 6th-string nut, so it has been repaired with adhesive.
There is some discoloration on the pickguard. The knobs and pickup covers show signs of sun fading. There is a crack at the edge of the back panel.
There are also some minor scuffs, but no particularly noticeable scratches.
There are no noticeable issues with the neck, and it is in good playing condition.
