[SN 8060162] USED G&L / Premium SB-2CFS Made in Japan Sunburst [11]
The G&L SB-2CFS PREMIUM MIJ is a model based on the SB-2 designed by Leo Fender, finished with high precision as part of the Japanese-made premium line. The Circle Fretting System (CFS) improves intonation and chord cohesion, delivering consistent performance from live shows to recording sessions.
The PJ pickup layout delivers an extremely thick low end from the front pickup and adds attack and definition from the rear pickup. It has a more assertive presence than a typical PJ setup, making it stand out clearly even within a band ensemble.
The controls feature a practical configuration consisting of stacked knobs for front and rear volume, plus a master tone control.
Combining a design philosophy directly rooted in the USA with the precision craftsmanship unique to Japanese manufacturing, this is a simple yet highly refined instrument.
There is a chip on the headstock.
There is a slight step in the skunk stripe on the back of the neck.
There are other minor scratches, dents, and signs of use.
The neck is in good condition, and the instrument plays well.
