Extremely Rare! This is an Ibanez FV-type model released in the 1970s.
This model was manufactured for only three years, from 1975 to 1978. The catalogs from that era listed only the natural-colored version, named āAfrican Korina,ā and there is absolutely no information available regarding this black version.
Itās possible this is an unlisted specification or a refinished model, but the details are unclear.
Although it has an FV shape, the body and neck are not made of mahogany; instead, it features an ash (or sen) body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard.
It is equipped with two original SUPER 70 pickups, though the gold pickup covers have been removed.
