[SN N1489] USED STEINBERGER / GP2S, Manufactured in 1985, Black [12]

[SN N1489] USED STEINBERGER / GP2S, Manufactured in 1985, Black [12]

The STEINBERGER GP-2S featuring S-TREM is now in stock.
Since its sensational debut in the 1980s, STEINBERGER has been adopted by countless musicians in the blink of an eye, thanks to its innovative design that eliminates all unnecessary elements, its unique functionality that redefines conventional concepts, and the stable sound and playability delivered by its exceptional durability.

The GP-2S, featuring an A-line body, an EMG HZ passive pickup mounted on the pickguard, and an S-TREM bridge, has arrived.

Based on the serial number, this is believed to be a Newberg-era model manufactured in 1985.

The maple body is securely joined to the carbon-graphite neck with four bolts, and thanks to its smooth, heel-less design, this model is extremely easy to play even in the higher frets.
There is a crack in the pickguard near the neck joint, and there is minor paint chipping on the back of the body.
Numerous scratches and dents are scattered throughout the instrument, and some of the plating on the metal parts has worn off.
Parts of the EMG logo on the pickup covers and the STEINBERGER logo on the pickguard are fading, and the rubber stopper at the nut is missing.
The fret tops have been slightly flattened due to fret leveling, but this does not affect playability.
Although it shows some signs of use, it has been fully serviced and cleaned at our repair center—including the replacement of the tone pot—and offers excellent playability.
Condition Grade: B+: Some minor scratches, but no issues for normal use
