[SN 90956719] USED Gibson USA / Flying V '67 Reissue Cherry [12]
The Flying V, Gibson’s iconic unconventional guitar, has arrived!
Built in 1996, this is a reissue of the 1967-spec Flying V, featuring a tapered headstock and a large pickguard.
The mahogany body, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard produce a unique, rich midrange tone that pairs perfectly with blues and rock.
Although it is an unconventional guitar, the ability to rest your right elbow on the "wing" stabilizes your picking form, and the lack of a cutaway ensures excellent playability in the higher frets—making it a truly well-designed shape.
While it requires a bit of adjustment for seated playing, its playability while standing is exceptional.
The jack, rear volume pot, and knobs have been replaced. Overall, there is significant wear, including scratches, dents, peeling paint, discoloration, and wear marks. The pickguard has cracks and marks, and the metal parts show discoloration and rust.
The frets have been filed down and have about 70% of their original height remaining; the neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is adjustable.
