[SN 90968726] USED Gibson USA / Flying V '67 Reissue Cherry [12]
Built in 1998, this is a reissue of the 1967-spec Flying V, featuring a tapered headstock and a large pickguard.
The mahogany body, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard produce a unique, rich midrange sound that pairs perfectly with blues and rock.
Although it is an unconventional guitar, the ability to rest your right elbow on the "wing" stabilizes your picking form, and the lack of a cutaway ensures excellent playability in the higher fretsāmaking it a truly well-designed shape.
While it requires a bit of adjustment to play while seated, its playability while standing is exceptional.
The 4th string tuner has been replaced. Overall, there is significant wear, including scratches, dents, peeling paint, discoloration, and wear marks. The pickguard is cracked, and the metal parts show discoloration and rust.
The frets have been filed down and have about 70% of their original height remaining; the neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is adjustable.
