Despite its 6-string tuner headstock and radical, asymmetrical body shape, it offers excellent playability in the higher frets, and the protruding body wing on the 6th string side helps maintain a stable picking formāfeatures that made it a favorite among metal guitarists in the 1980s.
It features a set-neck construction with a mahogany neck joined to a mahogany body, and is equipped with ProBucker 2/3 pickups.
